Stu Albon
Stu started skydiving at 16, and has completed over 4000 jumps in 30 years. He served for 13 years as a Royal Engineer and is the Team senior instructor. Stu says “I had wanted to jump ever since seeing Blue Peter as a kid, and took the opportunity shortly after joining the Army. Since then, I have introduced hundreds of people to skydiving as an instructor, and enjoyed watching many of them progress to become instructors and national champions in the sport. Display jumping for me is still the most technically challenging jump anyone can make – each one is different and carries it’s own unique risks. That’s what makes them so much fun to do. I’m proud to be able to represent the Royal British Legion in this way – it’s a charity that is close to my heart as an ex-serviceman, and one that continues to help veterans from all wars and conflicts every day.”
