The Team wanted to make everyone aware that because of the UK Coronavirus Outbreak, our plans for team training ahead of the upcoming "Display Season" has had to be put on indefinite hold.
We understand that many of the events that we had planned to display at have also had to rearrange, postpone or even cancel and we therefore hope that, as a team, we are not letting anyone down in the forthcoming weeks and months.
In our sport, training is necessary in order to remain legal and insured and of course gives us an opportunity to "hone" our skills and practice putting together the best display possible for our audiences. These Training Sessions in the UK are a challenge at the best of times, and the current situation has made it an impossibility right now.
We are very much looking forward to getting our knees back in the breeze as soon as is safe to do so, and displaying at events across the country. In the mean time, our thoughts are with everyone who is directly and indirectly affected by this dreadful virus and urge everybody to do their utmost to help each other where possible.
Just a small sample of our 2019 season. It seams like it's been a long winter. Hoping for some sun in 2020 and clear skies so we can get some more jumps in while promoting the good work of the Royal British Legion.
So, the season is over for us. Its been another fantastic year and the entire team are due a rest. We have plenty of plans in place, so watch this space for some subtle changes to the team image next year and we look forward to displaying at a venue near you while supporting the Royal British Legion in everything we do.
Have a great Christmas guys.
That's it lad, you can go home now
The fightings done and we won.
It doesn't feel like we won Sarge
What with so many young men and women dead.
So many lives ruined.
No lad, it doesn't
But we survived, so we won.
What'll I do now Sarge?
You'll be fine lad
They're making a land fit for heroes back home.
They'll take care of you.
But Sarge, my mind's a mess and my body sore
I really don't know who I am anymore
How will I survive the peace?
Don't you worry lad
You've done your duty
They'll look after you.
Hello Sarge it's been a few years
We've shed a few tears
And time has passed,
But we're still here eh Sarge
How you keeping lad?
Did they keep their promises
As you kept yours
Fighting in their wars?
No Sarge, I sleep rough on the street
And my mental health isn't good.
I have to beg for help
But you know Sarge, I don't like to.
But we won though, didn't we Sarge
Just they forgot to build a land fit for heroes.
Aye lad, we won.
Here's five pounds
Go get yourself a coffee lad.
There's no more I can do.
Since I got back home
I've been just the same as you.
But we'll get through it won't we Sarge
Of course lad, we always do.
We have to
We owe it to our fallen comrades.
They may forget us and the promises made
Leaving our heroes on the street.
